Quran Education: The Best Solution To The Current Circumstances Of Muslims!

The world politics have changed over the past decade.9/11 has been the turning point of the political affairs around the world. The world has witnessed silent and noisy wars between the nations from west and east. Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon Issue were prominent amongst the rest of issues. The western media has been the foremost tool of propaganda for the west. They have made perfect use of this tool to exploit the image of Muslims. Muslims on the other hand side lagged behind in the field of technology, they were economically weak and at the same time improper or weak leadership, did not allow Muslims to react accordingly.
Now that things have slipped out of the hands of Muslims, they need to revise their goals. They need to reform themselves, if they wish to survive through this phase and above all they need to identify themselves (being a chosen nation) and their previous position. Well for that the first step should be to reform them according to Quran education via Quran teacher or any other resource. Quran is the ultimate source of information for the humankind. Therefore, it should be utilized.
One of the reasons that Muslims are suffering from all these circumstances is that they have been a victim of orthodox-ism. Well this orthodox school of thought in Muslims is a big obstacle in their ways to step and compete in the international society. Musharraf, the dictator-cum-president of Pakistan proposed an idea of enlightened moderation for the Muslims nations. This was an appreciate-able piece of idealism from any Muslim Leader. According to him, one of the reasons that Muslims are suffering from these circumstances is due to their miserable condition from decades. Most of the Muslim countries are a victim of weak economies, dying democracies, aggressive publication, mismanagement on behalf of governments and administrations; lack of consistency in policy making and practicing policies.
All these factors have made Muslims, an aggressive nation. On this, when the western media shaped a propaganda against Muslims, they were unable to react to it, since they are still struggling for the basic necessities of life. If we apply Maslow’s model to any society, we find out that Muslims are still at the level 1, where it’s all about hunger and food. This wouldn’t have been the case, if we would have made Quran education, the base of our lives. If the west says Muslims are terrorists, the rest of the world accepts it, because they believe in what they are being showed. Muslims media, on the other hand, is nothing more than just a “media for business” or media for the sake of “media”.
The west has confused the whole world in Jihad and terrorism, but do Muslims know how to defend themselves in this case. Well, probably no, since they themselves are Muslims by name and not practicing ones. If we would have made Quran education a part of our life, we wouldn’t have been in this state. Now that we have ended up in this state, why can’t we realize the need for change of gear?
