Three Questions Of Jews To Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

The Quran reading is one way of getting the closeness of the Almighty Allah (SWT).  If someone is involved in the Holy Quran, Allah (SWT) gives him the reward better than others. A Hadith expresses the same topic:
“Hazrat Abu Sa’eed  (Radhiy Allaho Anho) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said: “Almighty Allah says; “If anybody finds no time for My remembrance and for begging favors of Me, because of his remaining busy with the Holy Quran, I shall give him more than what I give to all those who beg favors of Me. The superiority of the Word of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over the entire creation.”
There is no doubt that the Quran reading, learning and following has the solutions of Muslim Ummah. It was the Holy Quran that answered the questions of Jews when they wanted to test Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam).
Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam)was illiterate and did not know reading and writing, but when he used to preach people from the Holy Quran, people of Arab always had confusions that how come an illiterate person speaks highly intellectual Arabic?
The Jews wanted to test Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam), so they asked three questions to Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam). Here are the questions:
  1. Who were Ashab-e-Kahf?
  2. Who was Zulqurnain?
  3. What is spirit?
One thing we need to understand (the people who do Quran reading, they know it better) that Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) never said a word in his entire life other than what Allah (SWT) has ordered him.  There is a verse of the Quran that proves this statement as Allah (SWT) in the Holy Quran: “By the Star when it goes down, Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled, Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire”. Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) didn’t know the answers, so he waited for the revelation and Allah (SWT) Himself answered these questions.
Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) replied the Jews with the words of God when Allah (SWT) talked about Ashab-e- kahf in the Holy Quran: “We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance, We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity”.
Ashab- e- Kahf were young boys of who ran away for their Imaan (belief)  because the king of their state used to call himself god.
The Quran also answered the Question regarding to Zulqurnain and Spirit.  Zulqurnain was the one who helped a nation against Gog and Megog, where as spirit is the order of Allah SWT. The Jews were stunned by these answers and thought indeed this Quran is a word of Allah(God).
