Does Islam Accept Religious Pluralism?

The Holy Quran is the last book of Allah (SWT) which was revealed on the heart of Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam). Quran recitation is the way to understand the core and spirit of Quran. It has a divine light in it which can only be blessed to one by Quran recitation.
There is a huge debate that does Islam accept religious pluralism? First let’s see what exactly religious pluralism is?
Religious pluralism
the web definition of religious pluralism is “Religious pluralism is a loosely defined term regarding acceptance of different religions, and is used in a number of related ways such as the name of the worldview according to which one’s religion is not the only and limited source of truth, and thus that at least some truths and true” .Another very popular definition of religious pluralism is that the peaceful coexistence of several religions in a group of people or society.
Islam is a complete code of life and it addresses every aspect of life. Islam has a code of ethics and it allows other religions to practice their religions under that code of ethics. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran: “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things”.
The verse of Surah Baqarah shows that there is no compulsion in religion. You can’t force someone to practice Islam, but it doesn’t mean that Islam allows everyone to do whatever they want.
“No completion in religion” doesn’t mean that if someone wants to do adultery, corruption, dishonesty etc Islam lets he or she perform that act and doesn’t speak a word, rather it means that Islam gives them a space and room to practice their religious activities.
There are many examples in history that shows Islam allows other religions to practice their religions freely. When Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) conquered the Mecca, he forgave everyone and didn’t force them to do anything. Hadith and Quran recitation shows that Islam is a peaceful religion and it doesn’t restrict people rather it gives solutions to people.
Muhammad Bin Qasim a great leader, when he conquered the Sindh, he made a peaceful community there and allowed people to practice their religion. There is no doubt that Islam calls people towards the truth and orders the followers (The Muslims) to call people towards Allah (SWT), it’s just a preaching, and it’s not forceful. The biggest truth of the world is La Ilaha Ill Allah Muhammadur Rasool Allah (There is no god only Allah, Muhammad is the Rasool (Messenger) of Allah).
Some people say that Islam is the religion of boundaries and it doesn’t let people to breath. That is absolutely wrong. People of this believe must do Quran recitation in order to understand the real meaning of Islam.
(All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Realms; and Prayers and Peace of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and companions)
